Could someone please explain to me how to make armor and also weapons, and actually know what you are coming out with. Im only a level 7 if that means anything

im level 10 if that means anything.......you can make some new armor once you get into "post searing" Ascalon.

find one of the two armorers in the city....

determine what type of armor they offer and you want,

determine what crafting materials you will need to have the armorer craft the armor for you,

determine the cost,

buy a salvaging kit or two,

get out on some quests and harvest some raw crafting materials( basicly anything a monster drops.)

salvage those materials and hopefulley you'll get what you need to take back to the amorer...who will craft u some new armor...hope this helps

I found it easier to only buy armor twice in the game. Once in Lion's Arch and another in Dronkar's Forge. Both my Warrior and Mesmer have done this and by the time i reached there I

A) had enough gold (dont buy nething)
B) had the right ammount of materials (salvage items or trade salvaged items for salvaged items)

I suggest you trade off to people all the materials you get that you dont need. Plan out how much gold and materials you will need by Dronkar's Forge (7,500 gold and about 200+ materials of one kind).
